The new segments include the Secrets of the Rich and Famous, Trends with Benefits, Never Give Up, My Barangay, La Mesa Jam, Kid Power and #Tagged.
‘Navotaas’ Sports Camp
With the ‘Navotaas’ Sports Camp, which is set to once again next month, the city government of Navotas is really determined to produce world-class athletes.
Mayor John Rey Tiangco says it’s not impossible. But for now he wants the local youths to hone their skills and talents particularly in sports through free and extensive training at the camp.
Targeting some 600 local youths, the latest batch will only have to choose from the six sports clinics – basketball, volleyball, swimming, table tennis, taekwondo and badminton.
Mayor Tiangco says the year-long sports program has been proven in encouraging students and youths to refocus their time and energy in sports instead of engaging in nonsense things like vices.
Bye Bye for Now
It’s unfortunate the Alab ng Mamahayag didn’t make it, thanks but no thanks to the “Kumolek” people led by Sixto Brillantes.
To those who have shown their dedication and support, feel not lonely. As what Chairman Jerry Yap declares, ALAM will continue with more programs for its members and families without let-up.
And by the time the white-haired old man leaves, heard it’s by 2015, we return stronger, more determined and with a vengeance. Huh!
For now, let Chairman Jerry take the much-needed respite. Anyway, he’ll not be away, never.
